Kisito, whose first issue is published this month (December 2024) is aimed at both children and those accompanying the movement first…
But also at partners and various authorities. It aims to inform and inspire young members of the Cœurs Vaillants et Âmes Vaillantes (CVAV) movement as well as their supervisors.
The title “Kisito” refers to Saint Kisito, the patron saint of the movement. He is the youngest of the Martyrs of Uganda, known for his dedication and courage despite his young age. This name symbolizes the values of commitment, faith and courage that the newspaper wishes to transmit to young people.
The first edition of the Kizito newspaper is available in digital format on the official communication channels of the movement. It can also exist in paper version to be distributed during gatherings or events organized by the movement.
Kizito will be published quarterly (after each national coordination meeting). This will maintain a regular flow of information and keep the movement members up to date with the latest news and activities.
Each issue will be 25 pages maximum so as to cover a variety of topics while remaining accessible and attractive to all its readers.

- The objective of the Kizito newspaper is to:
- Inform readers of the latest news and activities.
- Inspire young people to actively engage in the movement.
- Educate on the values and principles of the CVAV movement.
- Share testimonies and enriching experiences.
The Kizito newspaper is edited by a dedicated team of CVAV managers (specialized in communication) headed by the national team’s communication officer. They work together to select the topics, write the articles and format the newspaper.
