With delegates children, youth or adults responsible for the movement define priorities or topics of the year that correspond to their life situations or particular concerns. These themes resume work locally and put into action the priorities voted with the International Meeting of Delegates of the member movements of the IMAC; the last took place in Chile in July 2008 on the theme "diversity".

The latter is also spokesman of the IMAC member movements against international organizations that have a responsibility in the field of childhood. For a more regular cooperation with each other, depending on their geographical proximity, IMAC is organized in several regions, grouping 5 to 10 countries. In each of the regions, a team can raise initiatives that can advance the rights of children. The members of the Regional Team Children are elected by their peers and work closely with the Regional Team adults, without neglecting its own specificity.
